Overview:

This program will address the growing use of neuro-psychological “Reptile” methods to influence witness’ testimony and jurors’ assessment of case facts. The use of these dangerous techniques by plaintiff attorneys has grown dramatically in recent years, and few solutions exist to confront such neuro-psychological approaches. This presentation discusses the neuro-science behind the “Reptile” methods, assesses moments of case vulnerabilities in the path toward trial, and offers useful methods to prevent the neuro-psychological manipulation of witnesses and jurors. Specifically, the presentation offers guidance to thwart neuro-psych attacks in deposition and trial testimony.
